There’s a version of your pet that only exists in real life and not in the sit-stay/look up for the treat version. The version that runs towards you, tail wagging, when you get home from work, or sleeps with their chin on your foot and then you’re legally obligated to not move until they move. There’s a version of your pet that does that silly thing they do that you’ve tried a hundred times to capture on your phone, but just can’t seem to.

That is what this session is for.

About an hour, one location that actually fits your story: your home, their favorite park, trail, or wherever they feel at ease. Nothing overly posed and prompted and blank staring at the camera. I follow and capture unstaged love between pets and their human(s).

For the pets (like my rescue dog Wilder) who need a little more patience, or the humans who just want a lot more photos.

Brief in-person conversation before we shoot, to test the waters and see if your loved one (or loved ones!) like me just as much as I know I’ll like them.

How long we shoot depends entirely on your pet and how they're feeling that day. Slower and quieter for the nervous ones. Quick bursts with play (and snack) breaks for the ones who can't sit still.

Discounted rates are available for all end-of-life and hospice sessions. Cost should never be the reason a family doesn't get these photos. Reach out and we'll figure out what works.

This is for anyone facing the loss of a pet, or getting ahead of it while there's still time. Built around your pet and how they're doing that day, not a fixed idea of what the photos should look like.

Sessions typically run 30 to 60 minutes, at your home or wherever your pet is most comfortable. There's no posing, no forced smiles, no rush. If your pet needs to rest halfway through, we rest. If they only have the energy for ten minutes, that's the session. The goal is to capture who they are right now.
